XXX Betabeers Granada: Breaking Bug and Game Of Code Review

Chema Nov. 2, 2018

betabeers networking event android meetup

Not every day you have the opportunity to listen to two Android top cracks in Granada. With an enviable trajectory (Tuenti, Fever, Chicisimo, ...), Nicolás Paratino and Saúl Díaz will tell us their experiences dealing with bugs and revising code.

Betabeers Granada reaches its 30th edition!

On this occasion, we will have two top-crack speakers with a lot to tell us!

On the one hand, Saúl Díaz (Android dev @Chicisimo and previously on Tuenti and Fever) with his talk "Breaking Bug" in which - performance included - will tell us how they discovered and handled a bug of great proportions.

On the other hand, Nicolás Patarino (Software engineer @Tuenti and previously in Idealista) brings a talk entitled "The code is dark and full of errors: Code Review edition"

In this talk Nicolás will talk about how Targaryen Consulting, a consultant of the Seven Kingdoms, agile and lover of good practices, was the victim of a bad implementation of Code Reviews causing a great confrontation between Daenerys and Jon Snow, two great developers of the company.  Besides a broad review of what a Code Review is, what parts it has, how to work with it and its good practices came to solve their conflicts ... Or not.

The places are limited (although we publish the event in several sites, only the people pointed to this Meetup will be counted). Please, if you finally cannot attend, frees up your seat so that someone else can attend to. This also helps us prepare space and drinks for more or less people :) Thanks!

We will start at 8:00 pm, be punctual! After the talk, we will have a networking space.
Ah! Fresh beers and soft drinks will be waiting you, as usual. :)
